Satisfaction

I've been wanting to set up a blog for myself to jot down my random thoughts for a long time now. When it comes to tech things, I like to keep things pretty minimal. I don't like having to do a bunch of configuration and I don't want to figure out how to use a CMS like Wordpress. I wanted to write Markdown posts with a minimalistic site layout, and now I have just that.

I used this really handy Next.js blog template - https://vercel.com/templates/next.js/nextjs-contentlayer

I tried deploying it on Netlify and Vercel, but neither were working and I was getting really weird, unintelligible errors. Therefore, I decided to just host the website from an S3 bucket on AWS which worked just great.

But technical jargon aside, here we are! I can write whatever I want and it's super easy to deploy it to my site. There, I just wanted to get out the message of my own satisfaction. Happy times are ahead.
